Reiki

What Is Reiki?

Reiki is a gentle, hands-on (or hands-hovering) practice that supports the body’s natural ability to regulate and restore itself.

It is not forceful.
It is not invasive.
It does not require belief, it just requires consent.

Reiki works by creating conditions for deep nervous system relaxation.

When the body shifts out of stress mode and into parasympathetic regulation, it can soften, recalibrate, and begin to process what it has been holding.

My role is not to “fix” you.

My role is to hold steady, regulated space, your body does what it already knows how to do.

What a Session Looks Like

You arrive and we begin with a brief check-in.

You remain fully clothed and lie comfortably on the table.

Sessions are quiet and deeply restorative.
Hands may rest lightly or hover above the body.

There is no pressure to talk.
No pressure to perform.

No pressure to feel anything specific.

At the end, we gently integrate and reflect on anything that surfaced.

Who Reiki Is For?

Everyone, animals too!

Reiki is especially supportive for:

  • High-achieving women who are tired of holding everything

  • Caregivers and leaders

  • People processing emotional transitions

  • Those experiencing chronic stress

  • Anyone who struggles to fully relax

You do not need to be spiritual.
You do not need prior experience.

You simply need a body.

Why Reiki?

Most people live in low-grade fight-or-flight meaning they are over thinking, holding everything together, breathing shallow, and in a general state of high functioning.

When the nervous system stays activated for too long, it impacts sleep, digestion, mood, muscle tension, emotional processing, and overall well-being.

During a Reiki session clients experience deep relaxation.

This is experienced through..

Slowed breathing

Muscle softening

Temperature shifts (warmth or coolness)

Tingling sensations

Emotional release

Deep sighs or spontaneous relaxation responses

A sense of something finally “letting go”

Every body responds differently.

Reiki does not replace medical care. But it can be complimentary to your medical treatment.
