Meet Our Teacher's

Alee P.

Reiki Master Teacher.  Yoga Teacher. Herbalist.

Alee is the founder of Embodied Yoga & Wellness and continues to teach weekly classes alongside the studio’s growing team.

She is a 500-hour certified yoga teacher, Usui Reiki Master Teacher, and second-generation herbalist with over 16 years of experience in holistic wellness practices. Her work often blends movement, energy work, plant wisdom, and nervous system awareness into grounded, accessible experiences.

Her classes integrate mindful movement, breath awareness, and steady presence. She creates spaces where students can build strength, regulate their nervous systems, and reconnect with themselves in a way that feels sustainable and real.

Through Reiki, meditation, herbal education, and intentional gatherings, she holds space for emotional processing, self-inquiry, and deeper self-trust. Her approach honors both the physical body and the unseen layers of healing, offering practical tools alongside intuitive guidance.

Raised around music and high-fidelity sound systems, Alee is also a lifelong music and hi-fi enthusiast. She believes sound, rhythm, and frequency are necessary tools for regulation, integration and connection.

When she’s not at the studio, you’ll likely find her at the barn working with horses, doing mom stuff with her 3 boys or listening to music

Katie M.

Yoga Teacher. Pilates Teacher. Nutritionist.

Katie is passionate about whole-body wellness and the deep connection between movement, nourishment, and long-term health.

She began practicing yoga in 2018 and felt called to deepen her understanding of the tradition by traveling to India, where she completed two 200-hour yoga teacher trainings immersed in classical philosophy and practice. That experience shaped her approach in a way that honors both tradition and modern science.

In addition to being a certified yoga instructor and Pilates teacher, Katie holds a Master’s degree in Nutrition and brings a strong background in health sciences. With nearly a decade in the dental field and experience teaching at the college level, she developed a deep appreciation for the connection between oral health, systemic health, and overall well-being.

Her classes blend mindful flow, core stability, intentional breathwork, and functional strength. She teaches in a way that is supportive and encouraging, approachable yet empowering. She helps students build resilience physically and mentally, both on and off the mat.

Katie recently relocated from Florida and is excited to root into this community.

When she’s not teaching yoga, you’ll likely find her snuggled up with her cat or cleaning something, somewhere. She finds peace in creating calm, organized spaces, both in her home and in the body.
